  • Anchoring and Anchor Kits are one of the most important accessories for sites dealing with moving currents, waves, tides, or other site factors. Having the right anchor pattern, installation design, and anchors can significantly influence, reduce and redistribute loads placed on your barrier. Anchoring floating barrier systems correctly should be discussed in detail with your representative whether you select GEI products or utilize your own.
  • Boom

    $120.00
GEI Works’ absorbent booms provide containment with maximum absorption of hydrocarbons while repelling water, ensuring that your boom does not shed or sink even when saturated. Hardware clips along the exterior length and marine rope along the length make deployment and retrieval easy.  Sections can be linked together to form barriers in the lengths required for your site. Stay in compliance with Federal Regulations for spill containment and cleanup with an absorbent boom. Selections include Oil only, General Purpose or HazMat Polypropylene products.
  • GEI Works’ Type 3 DOT, HD and HD Permeable Turbidity Curtains provide a high-strength solution for containing silt, turbidity, and displaced particles for projects around your site and with DOT requirements. Designed for fast water, waves or demanding conditions, these curtains add increased strength to containment or control areas. They feature a woven geotextile filter panel that is located within the bottom shirt that allows water to pass through. Type 3 DOT models are typically recommended for use in areas with flows up to 1.5 knots.
  • GEI Works’ Type 1 Contractor and DOT Turbidity Curtain provide a practical solution for containing silt and other displaced particles in a confined zone for short-term projects. Using our anchoring system and other accessories, the curtain is kept securely in place until the job is finished. This light duty turbidity barrier is best suited for calm water locations with no waves and low silt levels. Designed for depths between 3 and 10ft, the Type 1 Turbidity curtain is an excellent fit for ponds, shallow lakes, swales, and creeks with calm water.
  • GEI Works’ Type 2 DOT, HD and Permeable Turbidity Curtains provide a durable solution for containing silt, turbidity, and displaced particles for projects around your site and with DOT requirements. Designed for moving water, waves or moderate conditions, these curtains add increased strength to containment or control areas. They feature impermeable fabric, a bottom ballast chain, and grommet section connectors that allows water to pass though, throughout the depth of the skirt. Type 2 DOT models are typically recommended for use in areas with flows up to 1 knot.
  • Heavy Duty Dewatering Bags, also known as sediment filter bags or silt bags, are an easy and economical option for any site looking to remove sediment or silt from their discharge. Each Heavy Duty Dewatering Bag is constructed from a thicker non-woven geotextile with higher filtration properties than Standard Dewatering products. They reliably filter even finer particles to catch and contain sediment as muddy water is pumped from your site. These filtering bags are made from a non-woven geotextile fabric that is needle-punched to allow water to flow back out while retaining fine soils and particles. Its high filtering qualities make it ideal for pumping trenches, construction sites, dredging areas, ponds, lakes and for dewatering in municipalities or plants. Dewatering Bags are the most common option for removing unwanted materials from discharge or stormwater runoff. Bags are generally smaller in size, and ideal for dumpsters, drop boxes, or other small dewatering areas. Their components meet or exceed minimum DOT Erosion and State NPDES Sediment Control requirements as outlined in 40 CFR 122.26. GEI’s Dewatering Tubes help keep runoff clean and keep your site in compliance with local and federal stormwater regulations.

  • GEI Works’ manufactured Dewatering Socks helps you control and contain sediment during dewatering, sump pump-outs or other containment products.  Dewatering filter socks are one of the easiest ways to filter water runoff as it leaves your site. Designed to attach directly to the end of vertical dewatering pipes or hoses, these filter socks contain sediment, debris, and other pollutants as the water discharges from your site. Pipe socks are DOT compliant.  Their components meet or exceed minimum DOT Erosion and State NPDES Sediment Control requirements as outlined in 40 CFR 122.26. These pipe socks help keep runoff clean and keep your site in compliance with local and federal stormwater regulations.
