At GEI Works LLC, an Inside Sales Representative should achieve success in cold or warm calling and outbound strategic development. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for primarily outbound sales activities, handling inbound leads and growing a book of business. This will require exceptional communication skills, customer service, providing product solutions, pricing and growing your portfolio through rigorous account development activities. The sales professional will handle some company-produced incoming leads but will primarily be responsible for establishing and growing new accounts through hunting for opportunities, relationship-building, and account development techniques. The successful rep will qualify opportunities, review bids, specs and drawings where required, utilize research techniques and internal software and reporting to identify new targets, establish good communication with customers, and ensure that the customer project, requirements, and needs are fully communicated, quoted and fulfilled. The Inside Sales Representative will manage orders and projects and liaise with other departments as needed to support the customer. The Inside Sales Representative will ensure thorough follow up activities take place that develop the customer relationship and drive further opportunity, repeat sales, and referrals. Accuracy and thoroughness will need to be balanced with timeliness, internal drive, and a sense of urgency.

A professional company image in-person, phone and in concise written e-mail interactions is required. The candidate will need to be detail oriented in administration, able to contribute to a team building, solutions-oriented environment and be motivated by ‘the win’ for both self and company, love building customer relationships, growing accounts and solving problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be curious, friendly and outgoing, proactive and hungry to make or take a call whether it’s to find a new POC, work with a gatekeeper to gain entry to a decision maker, contact purchasing agents, discuss options with your leads, troubleshoot issues, stay in communication with your customers when there’s a problem, close the sale, and asking for referrals and repeat business. You will spend the bulk of your time on the phone locating appropriate POCs and seeking opportunities to quote our products and solutions , sending proposals. and completing sales. Be genuinely interested in learning about customers and their industries and how our product solutions fit their needs – and you will find success in this role!

  • Outbound sales calls, and relationship development of major accounts is a primary focus – including strategic planning and tactical activities in conjunction with sales management to drive growth.
  • The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for fully qualifying incoming sales opportunities via web forms, calls, and online inquiries as presented.
  • Qualifying customers will include ensuring understanding of the customer’s need, purchasing position, careful recommendations of products to fulfill the need, following up with the customer to ensure the quote and purchase timeline is established, satisfaction in their purchase, and asking for referrals and repeat business. Accounts should be developed for repeat and add-on business.
  • The position requires thorough knowledge of numerous products and WILL require study, learning and development in application, industry, and features beyond what is supplied during in-office training and working hours. The position requires someone willing to dedicate time to learning product and application as well as in professional sales skill development.
  • This position requires strong business writing skills in order to craft concise, professional and friendly responses, queries, customer communications and support. This will require the creation and modification of documents using GEI’s ERP and CRM software, Google Cloud-based services, Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, and Gmail.
  • Participation in associations, some limited travel, and marketing events such as tradeshows and seminars may be required.
  • Training of Division Team members will occasionally be required. Participation in team-building exercises and skill building training will be on-going and supporting staff in assigned project based work and other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires previous experience and B2B sales in industrial, commercial or construction markets. Previous sales experience and ability to think and work efficiently is a must in this position.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish given preference
  • Current Knowledge of Microsoft Office, computer use and telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm. GEI Works, LLC expects each employee to maintain strict confidentiality in performing their duties.
  • Sales reps will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, and being located in a busy, open-area office you will be faced with constant interruptions and requests.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication, assembly, and warehouse operations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Production Manager will handle custom projects, create drawings, tools, SOP’s, work instruction, assist with estimating, sku and BOM creation. The PM will help streamline and maintain equipment, machinery, workflow, and identify, collaborate and implement change as needed to continuously improve results.

The Production Manager will coordinate activities with the production team that increases engagement and support of GEI’s Mission, Vision and Values. Core Values must be driven into the day to day work environment to promote understanding and adoption with a focus on recognition and training. This role is key to the development of people as well as products and processes.

Duties:

  • Plan and coordinate production activities to ensure on time delivery and completion of projects
  • Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Lead, Supervise, coach, and train production staff, providing guidance, constructive feedback, acknowledgement and support as needed.
  • Guide Production Lead (PL) in establishing human capital requirements and evaluation and production processes, contests, training, coaching and rewards. Support company values and drive implementation through training, discussions, coaching and programs. Guide PL in developing leadership skills, developing and delivering weekly toolbox and safety training to the production team.
  • Ensure Inventory Control Specialist (ICS) is receiving goods, managing cycle counts and maintaining inventory according to standards
  • Liaise with the Purchasing Department and sales to maintain levels for stock and orders in hand.
  • Maintain time study systems and drive results back into the production team to improve results
  • Develop, implement and maintain a formal Quality program and Safety Program
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall productivity
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance and repairs
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards
  • Participate in setting operational budgets and controlling operational expenses.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
  • Provide quality customer service internally as well as externally, with solutions-forward response, ethics and integrity
