Secondary Containment Liners and Berms
Frac Tank Containment on Oil and Gas Projects
The secondary containment liners are designed
for the containment of frac tanks and related frac materials. These containment liners are equipped with aluminum angle brackets or foam walls that can be inserted into all four sides of your frac tank liner.
Secondary containment berms build a complete area of frac tank containment to catch liquids in the event of a spill.
Secondary spill containment liners and berms can be made in a wide range of fabrics, including LLDPE and polyurethane, depending on the thickness required and the liquid you need to contain.
If you have questions about frac tank containment, give the GEI Works team a call at 1-772-646-0597 or request a price quote.
Frac Tank Secondary Spill Containment Options
Secondary spill containment for frac tanks can include several different options
to help with frac storage units, frac water transfer, valve secondary containment, and more. When not in use, spill berms can be folded up and moved to a new location around your facility.
Containment Liner Fabrics
Frac tank liner fabrics can include several different options to help with secondary spill containment
of materials such as hydrocarbons, oil, and frac liquids. Standard fabrics include:
- 22 oz. XR-5 (or equivalent)
- 30 oz. XR-5 (or equivalent)
- 40 oz. Urethane (high quality)
- 40 mil. LLDPE (economical)
Each of these fabrics will help with your storage requirements. In addition, frac tank berms may include storage walls around the berm that are made from either a drive-over foam or aluminum brackets.
