Small Scale Waste Disposal Systems
Costs for a Plant that can Deal with Waste from a Medium Size Leisure Facility
Question: I am looking for small scale waste disposal systems and came across your web site for incinerators. I am trying to find out the relative costs for a plant that can deal with waste from a medium size leisure facility that will have about 50-100 residents at any time. The waste we want to burn will be paper and other non bio-degradable substances. For my organics I would be looking at composting and other bio solutions on the site of my project in Ghana, West Africa.
In the first instance I'm only looking for information on various systems, sizes, and relative costs. I am also currently looking at a solid waste system that can handle toilet waste and biodegrade it into a sludge and clean water, but I would also like to find a solution for burning the sludge.
I am building a ski slope in Ghana - I know it sounds crazy. The idea is to have zero waste disposal into the environment - making the facility super eco-friendly. This slope is a dry ski slope. The only water use is for lubrication, and this is recycled 100% with losses from evaporation. My major concern is to avoid solid and liquid waste entering the environment as the facility is located near a waterfall. It's a 170-plus sheet of artificial ski carpet.
Answer: Thank you for contacting us! Choosing the right incineration unit for your application depends on several different factors. In order to help us help you determine the correct incinerator for your small scale waste disposal systems application, please provide us with some of the following information:
- Volume of Waste Materials
- Type of Material Needing to be Burned
- Desired Frequency and Duration of Operation
- Emission Requirements
- Type and Location of your Project
Depending on your answers to these questions, different options may be better than others for your location.
Small Scale Incinerators
If the amount of material you are looking to burn is small in size, one of our Small Scale Portable Incinerators may work best. These incinerators are made in several different models for small batch loads.
- Trash Incinerator for the disposal of non-hazardous materials such as plastic, paper, cardboard, and more.
- Drug Incinerator for the disposal of confiscated materials including illegal drugs, prescription drugs, and more.
- Medical Waste Incinerator for the disposal of medical waste from locations such as hospitals, clinics, labs, and more.
Large Scale Incinerators
If you are looking to dispose of something slightly larger in size, one of our Solid Waste Incinerators may work best. These units can incinerate anywhere from 50 to 600 pounds per hour. Several different models are available.
Our GEI Works sales team can send some options to you. We have some other products that may be useful for dewatering waste and also large flexible tanks to store water.
