Ultra-Dewatering Filter Bag Detail and Types
Choosing the right dewatering filter bags for your location is often dependent on several different different factors including the type of materials you need to filter and where you will be using this product.

Ultra-Dewatering Bags to Filter Oil and Sediment
Dewatering filter bags are a good option for areas requiring
the filtration of both sediment and oil. Designed with a filter fabric that can handle both oil and sediment, the bags are available in several standard sizes including the following:
Size | Max Flow Rate | Sediment Capacity | Sediment Capacity | Oil Capacity |
---|---|---|---|---|
3' x 4' | 500 gpm | 0.3 cu/yds. | 720 lbs. | 1.2 gal. |
6' x 6' | 500 gpm | 1.3 cu/yds. | 4320 lbs. | 3.7 gal. |

Reusable Ultra-Dewatering Filter Bags
Reusable Ultra-Dewatering Filter Bags are a good choice for locations
looking to contain and dewater smaller amounts of materials. Rather than being complete sealed, these bags will feature a locking rod that will seal one side of the bag shut. Once dewatering has finished, this portion
can then be opened to allow for the bag to be cleaned and reused. Reusable Ultra-Dewatering Bag sizes include the following:
Size | Max Flow Rate | Sediment Capacity | Sediment Capacity |
---|---|---|---|
3' x 5' | 500 gpm | 0.3 cu/yds. | 960 lbs. |
3' x 7' | 500 gpm | 0.7 cu/yds. | 2160 lbs. |
*Replacement bags and locking rods are available separately.
For large scale projects, we also have several Geotextile Dewatering Tubes that can be built in large capacities up to 250 feet in length. Geotubes and sludge tubes are meant to handle larger capacities than standard dewatering filter bags.
