How To Setup An Aluminum Angle Spill Berm

spill bermsSetup for the aluminum angle spill berm is quick and easy to accomplish. In order to set up this berm, follow the simple steps shown below:

  1. Take the spill berm out of the storage bag and lay it out flat on the ground.

  2. Fold in the sides of the berm so that the outer walls of the berm are facing up.

  3. Remove the aluminum angles from the storage bag and lay them next to pockets seen on the outer berm wall. These angles are built with a 90° angle.

  4. Place the angles into the pockets from bottom to top. The 90° angle should be placed so that the bottom and side of the berm are surrounded by the aluminum angles. This means that the top part of the aluminum angle should be along the side of the berm within the pocket, while the bottom of the aluminum angle is touching the ground.

Spill berms typically come with the liner, aluminum angles, and storage bag. This helps keep all your materials in one location so that berms can be quickly assembled and placed in their required containment areas.
